Corvair Rear Mount

Update:  Its 20 Aug 09 and still working without a hitch

Using off the shelf replacement parts to advance the Corvair with a reasonable price.    This could be a DIY project,

but certain metal working tools and welders would be needed. 

Anchor 2477 motor mount (Approx $15.00)

Mounted in the car

This is not a finished, but is the start.  A bushing (standoff) is added to get it to the proper length.

This welded Boss was added 20 Feb 09 after the mount contacted the plate and mounting bolts were moved up 1/4 in.
